- Description:
- In honor of Black Music Month and anticipation of October's upcoming exhibition on the history of the Apollo Theater, the Charles H. Wright Museum is proud to present "Music From the Apollo."
Featuring Memphis' Ruby Wilson, representing the legacy of blues and soul as performed at the Apollo, and Philadelphia's Jaguar Wright, a modern interpreter keeping that legacy current (both accompanied by Detroit's own G Squad Band led by Eric Gaston), this promises to be a soulful, outdoor summer concert for the entire family.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
